Customize the Viewer for a Class

Any user with sufficient Role permissions to edit a class can change the Viewer that all participants see when they use a class.

CloudShare supports optimization for each class experience. For example, you can use different content, resources and VMs for every single class, without the need to change the Blueprint.

  1. Go to Training > Classes. The Classes list is displayed.

  2. Locate the class you want to change Viewer for. If the list is long, you can use any of the search, sort or filter options to help you find the relevant class.

  3. Click the Name of the desired class. The Class Details page is displayed for that class.

  4. From the action buttons at the top of the page, click Customize Viewer.

    The Customize Environment Viewer page for the class will open in a new browser tab.

    Note

    The option to customize the class Viewer is disabled for Multi-Step classes (i.e., classes that use more than one Blueprint).

  5. Change the desired settings. For complete information about customizing the Viewer, click here.

  6. When you're done making changes, at the upper right corner of the page, click Save. A confirmation message will be displayed and your Viewer customizations will be saved for the selected class.
