View In-Class Analytics
Do you need immediate insights about your class, while it's still running? For each class, CloudShare provides you with real-time data analytics that cover:

Student participation

Student engagement

Instructor performance
During the class, you can use the data revealed in CloudShare's Class Analytics panel to make an immediate impact on class engagement, and to focus your attention on those participants who need it most. After the class, you can use the panel to better understand key performance indicators.
Keep all class stakeholders in the loop. The Class Analytics panel is available during and after the class to all Instructors (and to any user who can access the Instructor Console or Class Details page).
Note
No class analytics data will be available before the class begins. After the class starts, analytics data will be updated regularly. Final analytics data will remain available for viewing after the class ends.

From the Instructor Console or Class Details page for the class, click the Class Analytics tab icon located at the right edge of the page:
The Class Analytics panel will be displayed.

Navigate the panel to gain insights into the activities and performance of the class. Each time you open the Class Analytics panel, it will be display the most up-to-date data available.

To close the panel, click the X icon at the top right of the panel. Alternatively click a second time on the Class Analytics tab icon.
The CloudShare Class Analytics panel organizes real-time data about the current class into three distinct tabs, as detailed in the following table:

Participation Tab (Students) |

Students Joined per Day |
Shows the number of participants for each day of the class. This data will be displayed only for multi-day classes. The time displayed is by the time zone for the class. |

Students per Email Domain |
Shows the distribution of participants by their email domain name. |
|
Students per Country |
Shows the distribution of participants by their country. |
|
Engagement Tab (Students Only) |
|

Distribution of Student's Activity |
Shows the distribution of participants' engagement level based on the frequency of engagements (such as messages and Assist Me requests sent). This data is relevant only when the Class Chat feature is enabled for the class. |

Distribution of Class Messages |
Shows the distribution of participants by the number of class chat messages they sent. This data is relevant only when the Class Chat feature is enabled for the class. |

Distribution of Private Messages |
Shows the distribution of participants by the number of private chat messages they sent. This data is relevant only when the Private Chat feature is enabled for the class. |
|
Distribution of Assist Me Requests |
Shows the distribution of participants by the number of Assist Me requests. This data is relevant only when the Assist Me feature is enabled for the class. |

Video Conferencing Participation |
Compares the number of participants who joined vs. did not join a video conference. This data is relevant only when the Video Conferencing feature is used during the class. |

Instructor Engagement Tab (Instructor-Led Classes Only) |

Assist Me Request Average Response Time |
This indicates the average response time to Assist Me requests, by Instructor. |
|
Total Assist Me Request Responses |
This summarizes the total number of Assist Me request responses, by Instructor. |
