View Live Thumbnails of Student Environments
The Instructor Console displays a thumbnail image of every student's environment viewer.
By default, the thumbnails are periodically updated to show you a current view of the student's viewer:
When you need to oversee a student's work more closely, you can switch on a live thumbnail for the student, which will be updated in real time. You can have up to 20 live thumbnails running concurrently.
To start displaying a live thumbnail for a student:

Click
at the top right of the student's thumbnail and select Live Thumbnail.A live thumbnail of the student's environment is shown.
If the live thumbnail option is grayed out, you have reached the maximum number of live thumbnails. You can make it available for one student by stopping a live thumbnail for another student.
To stop displaying a live thumbnail:

at the top right of the student's thumbnail and select Stop Live Thumbnail.The thumbnail reverts to the regular non-live mode.
