CloudShare provides a Salesforce package that enables sales engineers to send POC invitations to CloudShare end users directly from Salesforce.

A POC invitation lets any user spin up and view their own personal copy of a CloudShare POC environment in their browser. Sales engineers can create end user invitations from a Salesforce opportunity page, specifying the recipient of their choice. There's no need to log into CloudShare in order to send a POC invitation.

Using this package also lets a sales engineer track the status of a POC invitation directly from the Salesforce opportunity page, seeing when it was accepted and when the end user engages with the selected environment.

Although sending and monitoring POC invitations from Salesforce does not require a CloudShare login, a Blueprint for the POC needs to already exist in CloudShare. (It also may be created separately by your IT personnel on CloudShare.)

To benefit from using CloudShare POCs with Salesforce, you need to install the current Salesforce Integration Package or Salesforce Lightning Integration Package.
