Secure Access provides secure inbound access to the VM via CloudShare's Environment Viewer.
The VM may be accessed through the viewer via the following protocols:
RDP (Windows only)
SSH (Linux only)
VNC
Console
Secure access does not enable general access via public IP. However, there is an option to provide public access to a web application running on your environment via an HTTP proxy server. This option offers higher security access to a web application than using the Public IP mode. For more details about this feature, click here.
The Public IP option allows public IP inbound traffic to access the VM via CloudShare's remote access gateway.
In Public IP mode, the VM is accessible via:
All supported protocols in the Environment Viewer.
Any public IP access method over any protocol. The VM's public IP address is displayed as the VM's External Address on the Environment Details page. A convenient RDP file download option is also provided. The external address is also displayed in the environment viewer.
