Add or Modify a Network
Important
This task requires project member or project manager access.
To add or edit a network:

In the Environment Details page, select Edit Environment > Edit Networks. This option is enabled as long as the environment is running. If the environment is suspended, resume the environment and then edit the networks.
The Edit Networks page appears, displaying a graphic topological view of all networks in the environment, and showing the VM connections to each network.
1. All networks in the environment appear.
2. All VMs in the environment appear on the diagram with lines indicating their connections to networks.

To add a new network, click Add network.
To edit a network, select the network either by clicking it on the topology diagram or by selecting the network from the Select a Node dropdown.

Change the settings as needed:

Description
Name
A unique name for the network.
Subnet
Specify a subnet to define the range of IPs used for the network.
We recommend using private use subnets as listed by IANA: 10.0.0.0/8, 172.16.0.0/12, 192.168.0.0/16
CloudShare Gateway IP
The IP that CloudShare's remote access gateway should take up on this network.
We recommend using an address in the format x.x.x.1 for the gateway IP.

When you're done making changes, click Save changes.
The changes may take a few moments to be applied. You can check the status in the Environment Details page.
When you're done configuring the network, you can add or change VM connections to the network via network adapters. See Connect a VM to a Network.
