Upgrade the Package
Use the following procedure to upgrade the Salesforce package from an earlier version.
To upgrade:
-
Browse to the package installation link:
Production (version 1.8): https://login.salesforce.com/packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=04t1n000002Gu5x
Sandbox (version 1.8): https://test.salesforce.com/packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=04t1n000002Gu5x
You will need to log into your Salesforce administrator's account in order to access one of these links.
An earlier version detection message appears on the install page, for example:
An earlier version is installed. It can be upgraded while preserving the existing data. Installed: 1.7 (1.7) New Version: v1.8 (1.8)
Under This app is password protected, enter the password. The password is:
CloudInv!
Choose Install for Specific Profiles.
-
Before you click Upgrade, scroll down to the Select Specific Profiles area and do one of the following:
To install for all profiles, select CloudShare Invitation profile under Set access level for all profiles to and click SET.
To install for each profile individually, select CloudShare Invitation profile from the dropdown list for each profile.
When you're done setting access levels for profiles, select I acknowledge that I'm installing a Non-Salesforce Application that is not authorized for distribution as part of Salesforce's AppExchange Partner Program and then click Upgrade.
Select Yes, grant access to these third-party web sites and click Continue.
-
Click Done when the upgrade is complete.
You can now continue to use the package.
Note
If you are upgrading an existing Salesforce package installation that already uses CloudShare Sales Enablement features, you need to activate the checkbox for Sales Enablement module instead of invitation module in the configuration settings, as detailed in Complete the Setup.
