Using the Resources Consumption Widget
CloudShare provides actionable insights to improve the performance of Projects and Channels for you and your partners.
The Resource Consumption vs Quotas widget is displayed on CloudShare's Activity Overview page to provide a quick way for Project and Account Managers to see the real-time resource utilization for all Projects and Channels in an account:
For each Project or Channel, the widget provides current consumption for RAM (GB/Hour), Disk (GB/Hour) and Users Hours, along with the percentage utilization of any assigned quota.
When a value is displayed in green, its resource consumption is currently below its quota threshold metric.
When a value is displayed in red, its resource consumption is currently equal to or exceeds its quota threshold metric.
You can activate Show only channels checkbox to display only the Channel Projects in your account.
Note
Only Projects or Channels which have a quota metric assigned to them will be displayed in the widget. To assign a quota, use the Resources Quota feature found on the Details Page of a Project.
You can optionally choose the quota metrics to display from the the dropdown at the upper right corner of the widget:
By default, the widget shows only CloudShare Resources. To also display current information about External Resources (e.g., AWS, Azure or GCP), select the desired metric from the dropdown.
The Resources Consumption widget can provide the total Instance Uptime in minutes for a selected External Resource.
