CloudShare Architecture
Our wizard-based user interface makes CloudShare simple to use. It lets CloudShare do all the hard work, integrating the many components, tools and advanced concepts that enable you to build powerful computing environments quickly, for access at any scale.
Even though much of CloudShare's technical work is behind the scenes, becoming familiar with CloudShare's modular architecture will help you get the best out of your virtual IT labs.
CloudShare components interact with each other (and you) using the following models:
Project Model. You access your CloudShare virtual IT labs using Projects that are created by the Account Administrator. A Project Manager can easily manage and finely control all key characteristics and components of a Project. For more details click here.
User Model. Every CloudShare User is assigned a Role that determines the level of control they have over the components of a specific Project, as well as other Users. For more details click here.
Environment Model. Your virtual IT labs are specified using CloudShare Environments. Each environment contains all computing resources, operating systems, networking protocols and software that are required for a specific lab. In addition, its lifetime and limitations are governed by an assigned policy. For more details click here.
The articles in this section acquaint you with the design architecture for each of these models.
