Complete the Lightning Setup
Make sure you are logged into a Salesforce administrator account.
Ensure that the relevant domain is deployed and enables all users to use your Lightning components.
Go to the Opportunities tab and open an opportunity.
Click the Settings icon at the top right corner. The Settings options menu is displayed.
Click Edit Page. If you have more than one Opportunity Record Page, ensure that you are on the relevant Page that contains the component you want the user to see.
From the list in the left sidebar, go to Custom - Managed and locate the CloudShare Invitations component.
Drag and drop the component in the desired location on the Opportunity Record Page.
Click Save at the top right corner.
-
If you are currently configuring a new organization, the Activate popup will be displayed. Click Activate and then either:
Assign as Organization Default, or
Assign based on Application, Profile or Record Type.
To edit the information for a specific Page, click Activation at the top right corner.
Click Back to return to the Opportunity Record Page. Your new component will now be a section on the page.
-
From the CloudShare Invitations section that you created on the Opportunity Record Page, enter its configuration settings:
Note
If you are upgrading an existing Salesforce package installation that is already integrated with the Sales Enablement module, you need to activate the checkbox for Sales Enablement module instead of invitation module in these settings.
Typically, you only need to complete these settings during the initial setup, or when you want to change the value of a setting.
Click Save.
You're now done with the initial setup and your sales engineers can start sending invitations. You can change your configuration any time.
Note
Lightning component permissions for a user depend on the Lightning page settings, not on the user's assigned profile.
Adding the CloudShare Invitations component to the user's Lightning page will enable the user to create Invitations.
If you wish to block a user from creating Invitations, you must also block their profile from the Lightning page.
