BOOTMGR IS MISSING
Hey All,
in my environment, we have a machine - windows 2008 server with a number of apps installed on it. for some strange reason, we cannot reboot it. for a number of times already, everytime we reboot the machine, it fails to restart.
looking at the console, we see a single message: Bootmgr is missing, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to restart. needless to say Ctrl+Alt+Delete only returns to the same prompt.
Nothing seems to resolve it, nor does the knowledge center seem to have anything on the subject.
the only change I can think of that took place lately is the installation of Java JDK ver. 7. nothing other than that.
any ideas?
Thanks
