    hey, i think you're wrong with that one. as far as I know the uvoxxxxxxx.vm.cld.sr address never changes unless you delte your environment.

    hi I can't really do anything with your IPs, i don't work for cloudshare :)

    but anyway I'm not talking about IPs - i mean the external address

    Hi guys,

    David's comment was correct. The External Address (uvo1234.vm.cld.sr) or Persistent DNS does not change for the life of the environment. It will however change if you revert the environment.

    As is mentioned here, every VM in CloudShare has a persistent DNS that does remain static. However the underlying IP will change every time the environment is suspended and resumed.

    When connecting to a VM from outside of CloudShare with mstsc.exe, use the External address, not the underlying IP.
