VS2013 is now available, either as a standalone or as part of the full TFS. New VM's that we will create will include VS2013, while maintaining the existing tempates we have with VS 2010/2012 as they still serve a large amount of our users.

These are the machine template names:

    • Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard W/ Visual Studio 2013
    • Team Foundation Server 2013

Please also update the SharePoint 2013 VM.

Is there any way to apply the CloudShare sponsored license for Visual Studio 2013 to an existing environment so I don't have to rebuild my VM from scratch from a refreshed template in order to obtain Visual Studio 2013 on that VM?

@Michel, AFAIK there is no reason not to update the existing VMs as VS 2013 is fully backward compatible with .NET 2.0 and up and VS 2010/2012 solution / project files.

@Leon, if you only need VS 2013 for a limited time, eg until CloudShare updates other VM templates, you could consider using the VS2013 trial version, good for 90 days.
