Add Microsoft as an external account / identity
Hi, please add Microsoft Hotmail / Live / Outlook (all the same just know by different names depending on when someone signed on board) as an external account / identity provider for your website eg under this URL https://support.cloudshare.com/users/NNNNNNNN/edit?return_to=#identities

Thank you for the post. We are not entirely sure we understand the request. Are you referring to authentication to CloudShare Application using the public providers listed, or are you referring to Claims/Forms based authentication on our SharePoint templates? If it is the later, there is a template in our showcase that has 90% of Claims authentication setup for Facebook and Live complete. You may also build with our templates any methods of authentication you want on the Farm as you have full control. It's not likely we will produce a template with Claims authentication pre-configured as it's highly subject to the users project.

I'm referring to when I view my profile on the CloudShare support website, https://support.cloudshare.com/, and then click Edit and then switch to the Identities tab, it lists Google and Facebook but nothing else. I don't use Facebook social network for work related stuff, and Microsoft Hotmail / Live / Outlook (online) is my preferred identity provider. It would be nice if your support website permitted using my Microsoft identity. A nice to have not a critical item.

Maybe this is out of your control and simply part of the ZenDesk software that you use to run the support website. As a side note, on that same page there is a link "Learn More" which links to this page https://support.zendesk.com/entries/21450118-update-your-profile which is targetted at IT Pro support folks not end users. So it doesn't really provide the right kind of targeted to end users help. Maybe that is also a glitch in the ZenDesk OOTB profile editing page.

Hey John, this is a Zendesk issue we have no control over unfortunately. When you register to CloudShare your email is passed through to our support site for single sign-on. If you registered with a Microsoft ID, then that's all you can do. Let us know if you would like us to manually update the email on your account.
Thanks!
