    Hi Steve,

    Thanks for reaching out and I am sorry you had a problem reconnecting to your SharePoint VM. I have tested the connection and have viewed the error logs for this environment, but everything seems to be working correctly.

    Can you confirm if you are able to connect to any of your virtual machines or is it just this one that is having a problem?

    Thanks Scott,

    All back up and running now but for some reason, the remote desktop services had stopped and would not restart even when attempting to reboot the machine.

    I managed to resolve it by hopping onto one of the other vm's that I had put in the domain and restarting the services remotely from there.

    Hi Scott,

    I am having a similar problem, after trying to restart my VM , i was disconnected and have not been able to reconnect  to my VM as i write to you. Would greatly appreciate your help with this.

    Hey Patience.  To try and troubleshoot the issue sometimes you can try switching to console view.  It may just be stuck in rebooting and you might need to wait to complete the process.  Console's pretty handy if an install went bad or if I've mysteriously broken the networking ;-)

    Hi Steve,

    For some reason, the network connection of my VM keeps being interupted with error messages and it is slower than usual. Can you have a look and see?
