How do I view a locally attached USB device in my CloudShare environment?
Am I able to assign a virtual USB port and use my local machine USB.
For example I would like to connect my iPhone to the virtual machine to use as a backup.
Thanks

Hi Darren,
Excellent question! Yes there is a way to link your phone or other external storage to your environment, as well as the drives on your local computer.
Simply enable 'File Sharing' as below.
Once you do, open 'Computer' and navigate to 'Network > tsclient'. You will then be able to see all of your local computer's drives, including anything connected via USB. In the second screenshot you will see my computer's two local drives and my phone's storage and installed SD card.
If you are looking for portability, you could also try using software like Dropbox.

Hi Colm, interesting one and I must admit - never tried it.
As the file sharing tool in the browser is looking for a logical drive, I'm not sure it would work. One option is to try connecting directly to a specific VM via Windows mstsc.exe and checking the options under the 'Local Resources' tab.
