Once you've added a student to a class, you can send the student an email to invite them to attend the class. The email is customizable. Customizations are automatically saved for next time you create a class, so it's advisable to verify that the email content is appropriate for each class.
Be sure to include:
Class access information, including the student login URL and student passphrase.
Class schedule information, including the class start time, end time and time zone.
Class location information, if relevant.
It's advisable to include a link to our connectivity test as well.
To customize the student invitation email for a class:
Click either in the Access step when you are creating a class, or in the Class Details page for an existing class.
The Invitation Email Preview dialog appears.
Make your changes:
Click any variable to insert it. (Hover over any variable for a description.)
Click to preview the email with class details.
Click Load Defaults to remove all customizations and load the content from the default template.
