Set the Default Snapshot

Environments created from a blueprint are based on the default snapshot in the blueprint. It's easy to change which snapshot is the default.

Identifying the Default Snapshot

  • Open the Blueprints and Snapshots menu and select Snapshots.

Your snapshots are displayed in the Snapshots page. You can see at a glance which snapshots are default snapshots (labelled D) and latest snapshots (L).

Changing Which Snapshot is the Default

  1. Open the Blueprints and Snapshots menu and select Snapshots

Your snapshots are displayed in the Snapshots page.

  2. Click the name of the snapshot that you want to be the default.

    The Snapshot Details page appears.

  3. Click Set as Default and then click OK to confirm your action.

A green success message pops up and if you return to the Snapshots page, you can now see the snapshot marked as default.

Creating a New Default Snapshot

If you want to create an entirely new default snapshot, just take your new snapshot making sure that the Set as default box is checked in the Take Snapshot page. (It is checked by default.) This new snapshot becomes the default.
